Organizations & Teams

An organization is a shared workspace where multiple people collaborate on projects, prompts, and agents under one billing relationship.

Solo accounts are fine for individual builders. You need an organization when you want any of:

  • Shared projects visible to teammates (not just you)
  • Multiple people managing the same agents and API keys
  • One invoice and one pool of AI Actions across the team
  • Role-based access so not everyone can delete production agents

How it fits together

  • Every user has a personal account and a personal subscription.
  • On top of that, a user can create an organization and invite others.
  • The organization has its own subscription (separate from any member's personal one) and its own billing.
  • Org members see the org's shared projects; personal projects stay private to the user.

Feature gate

Shared workspaces are behind the team-workspace gate, which is available on the Team tier and above by default. If your current plan is Free or Pro, you can still create an organization shell, but member management and shared projects are gated until you upgrade the org's subscription to Team or higher.

Enterprise-only capabilities (SSO, audit logs, SLA, self-host) sit behind a separate enterprise-compliance gate — see Security → Compliance.

What's in this section

If you are not sure whether to stay on a personal account or move to an organization, the fastest rule of thumb: if more than one person needs to manage the same agent in production, use an organization.
